The Five Energy Types and Their Unique Roles.

If you are new to human design or beginning your journey you will want to start by understanding your energy type and its unique strategy. Each energy type has its own unique role (or job) that it is here to play and contribute to the collective (or society). When we understand OUR unique role, we are able to understand ourselves deeply and from this we are better able to understand each other, and the unique role others are here to play.

This is part of the reason I feel so strongly about human design. From this deep understanding of our self, we are able to hold space for others and humanity as a whole is able to advance. We are better able to work together, and every type feels they can contribute their unique piece to the puzzle of society/the collective.

There are 5 energy types in human design. Your type really is your aura and the unique mechanics of your aura. You can think of your aura as your energetic body. I think it is important to note that your energy type is not your personality. This is more so what people will feel from you subconsciously on an energetic level.

A little information about the five types

1. Manifestors: (~9%) Are here to be initiators, to be the spark that gets things started. They are here to inspire others. I think it is important to note that a manifestor may not resonate with being "inspiring". In fact, a manifestor is the most inspiring to others when they have the feeling of "just doing their thing."

2. Generators:(~37 %) Are here to respond to life and through this they build and do what they love. Generators are gifted with life force energy that when they are doing what they love they are able to create more energy to be shared with themselves and others.

3. Manifesting Generators: (~33%) Are here to respond to life and through this they create and build what they love. They are also gifted with life force energy that when they are doing what they love they are able to create more energy. They are meant to be multi-faceted and show others how limitless life can be.

4. Projectors: (~20%) Are here to guide others and make life more efficient. A projector can see deeply into others, projects, etc. and are able to offer valuable wisdom. A projector must recognize their wisdom in order to be recognized by others.

5. Reflectors: (~1%) Are here to mirror or reflect back if something is healthy/unhealthy in their environment. Through this reflection they are able to bring their wisdom to the world. They are meant to feel many different "versions" of themselves and cycle through these "versions" approx every 28 days. (or lunar cycle).

Aura:

1. Manifestors: Traditional human design describes the manifestor aura as "closed" and "repelling" which is true but both those things are like a built-in protection to the manifestor so I love when the manifestor aura is described as "magnetic" and "impactful"

2. Generators: "Open" and "Enveloping" Generators have a warm and inviting aura that feels very welcoming.

3. Manifesting Generators: "Open" and "Enveloping" as well as "impactful" Manifesting generators are a mix of a generator/manifestor but it is important to note that their aura is like a generator being open and enveloping. They do have that impactful twist since they have a motor center connected directly to their throat!

4. Projectors: "Penetrating" and "Focused" meaning that their aura is able to see deeply into others, projects, etc.! It is important to note that a projector isn't able to "turn off" this focused energy, so they will always being seeing deeply into others. This is a gift but also explains the importance of the projectors strategy of "waiting for the invitation." A projector may be able to see things that the other person is not able to see in themselves (or not ready to see).

5. Reflectors: "Sampling" and "Resistant" The resistance piece is a built-in protection to the aura of a reflector. If the energy that they are experiencing is not healthy their aura can protect them by resisting the energy of that person.
   

Signature Theme: What each types feels when they are in alignment AKA using their energy correctly for themselves.

1. Manifestors: Peace

2. Generators/Manifesting Generators: Satisfaction

3. Projectors: Success

4. Reflectors: Surprise
   

Not Self: What each type will experience when they are out of alignment. Please note this is not a bad thing! Having the awareness of your not self is powerful! awareness is the first step to bring yourself back into alignment. Think of your not self as a signpost of being out of alignment.

3. Projectors: Bitterness
